Swang here for breakfast for my birthday. I've never been here, so I thought I'd try. I wasn't disappointed. When we came in, we were immediately greeted with a smile. We became a table and breakfast menus. It was at 10:30 and lunch began at 11. Shortly after that we were greeted by our waitress, asked about drinks and given us time to look over the menu. I was suggested to get the sampler based on what I was looking for, so I did. My wife picked up Eggs Benedict. Food was great and made as expected. I love American diners. Unfortunately, I am too young to have been there for her hay day, but places like Richies keep the spirit rightfully alive. The bright decor and the classic teal colour offer a welcoming atmosphere. Everybody's so friendly here! This location has a BBQ pit in front of the entrance, so you can see an employee grill cuts of meat and other things! The menu is varied with many classic American offers, from sandwiches to full dinner plates and BBQ. Portions are huge and the food is fresh. I had the Clam Chowder in a bread bowl and usually the bread is a Carby Afterthought, but that was different. It was really good, I had to stop eating everything.
This is a really sweet little diner. They offer all kinds of different dishes for everyone. We were in there and car-tri-tipp sandwich and their grill slippers. Both dishes were super delicious! They offered a 7 ounce of steak stripe on their children's menu, which is like unheard of! My son is a very good eater, so he really enjoyed the condition offered on the children's menu. He even got a little dessert after that, so he was super happy about it! I really like the battery on the fried zucchini basket, but I wish it were smaller pieces. It was really hot to eat and bite, but it was very delicious!
Richie?s is delicious! I've been here a lot! I first met my friend there! We love to come here and enjoy our time together! Last time we have breakfast. My friend got the chicken steak as he usually does. I think he's trying to taste every restaurant? I've got the murdered cattle ****! Both were good! And this time, he liked the murdered cattle ****! He doesn't like it anywhere else. The ash-browns were delicious! Some of the best! The side of cookies and Gravy was also good!
