Sam's Southern Eatery Wacotx

It was my first time back after the remodeling was complete. I love Sam's and the remaining staff was and is awesome. I have been going to Sam's for about four years. When I ordered my usual and sat down to eat. I WAS HORRIFIED!!! What happened? They cut the portions and changed the type of fish they usually served. I am sadden that the quality was compromised, yet they went up in price. I get it! Changes are necessary, but the quality isn't there.

Phenomena! Some of the best food I've had since we've been here a year ago. The fried catfish and shrimp very delish! The Mac cheese was definitely homemade and even the pommes were great. Very reasonable prices and great staff. Come back here often!

The first time there... Definitely delicious.. highly recommended. Will definitely be back. Huge portions and pieces of fish, staff very friendly and helpful. Great service. Red beans and rice are the bomb. everything freshly cooked and served...

All we ordered was so delicious. We couldn't even finish it. Didn't even expect the size and quantity that came to us. Anyway, it'll be back. Thank you.

Fantastic shrimps!!! Some of the last I had everywhere and cooked for perfection. This will be on my list when I'm in Waco.
