Schaumberg Alm - Reserva de mesa

2023-May-26 Friday ca. 16:45 I (male, Senior, German and my middle aged thai Companion came here for Vesper Dinner. At this Time fortunately it wasn 't this much busy. We got a Table in the Beergarden opposite the Self-Service Counter, and at this Table we could enjoy also the beautiful Panorama. The Altitude is about 570 Meter 1,870 Feet above Sea Level. Well, here a large Wheat Beer (0.5 Liter about a Pint costs € 4.70, but for such a popular Excursion Restaurant and moreover a freshly tapped Beer this is okay still indeed. Free parking, free restrooms and an amazing view regardless of whether you are eating at the restaurant. At the outdoor Biergarten part of the restaurant, you order at the window and carry the tray to your own table. The prices seemed a bit expensive until we saw the huge portions. For example, the schnitzel comes with 2 schnitzels and a large quantity of pommes; this could easily be shared by 2 people. Of course you can also just get a beer, wine or other beverage if not planning to eat there. The view of the region below is simply stunning. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Tholey area.

A reverb style location with the look of a Vikings fest hall. They have a large selection of food that are huge. They have lots of traditional German Saarland dishes that taste good. The service was a little slow but the servers are generally good. The view of the valley from there is spectacular.

It is very lovingly furnished. Staff very friendly and helpful. The food tasty and only once what I expect for such a place to meet and enjoy. And if the portions are too large, man/woman simply wanders around and then drinks an espresso or a beer with this great view! Reserva una mesa ahora

Beautiful place at a great viewpoint, the beer garden is large and beautifully landscaped. The food was as well as the almbeer very good, the portions (young boar) enormous.

Very nice beer garden at Schaumberg. The selection at the food is manageable, but high quality and delicious. Very nice staff. Great playground for the little ones.

Super location with great views. Many places, nice staff and normal prices. A visit is worthwhile as you can do more on the Schaumberg.
