I booked a reservation on Bookatable by Michelin to celebrate my wife's Birthday. The Schloss Shönau is in a picturesque setting within wooded park and a lake. The restaurant has elegance and ambiance. The meal was perfect and wonderfully delicious for the beginning to the...end and with beautiful presentation. Every bite of the meal was amazing and perfectly prepared. The Staff were very freindly and helpful as well as professional. The cost for the evening was exactly as expected and the price of the entire meal 3 course with drinks and dessert was very reasonable for such qulaity and dining experience. we were first in a lockpot on the fried beautifulau and ate, but the environment is not here. we sat on stacked chairs, which together with the arrangement of the tables conjured a waiting room atmosphere. romance misdisplay. the worst, but would be the energy-saving lamps that eat with a touch in the green every eye with destroyed. and on the 13th januar still have the Christmas decoration to stand, all this flows from a certain lovelessness, which then unfortunately no longer eat for the really good. very poor and therefore clearly point-dependent in the price-performance ratio. This is a unexpected good find. We had lunch here on a lazy sunday afternoon and had the lunch menu in the 'schanke' which is a separate room in the castle. The place is impressive, well maintained and the service (chef and waiter) attentive and efficient. There is a wealth of wine choices, especially from Germany. We had a Weisburgunder from Pfalz. The food was hearty (no dinner necessary) and price quality wise excellent

What a great surprise from my husband: Valentins menu at Schönau Castle! That was a brilliant event!!! Very attractive ambience with noble wooden ceiling! Excellent, friendly, yet easy service! And the highlight: an absolutely exquisite menu! palate and eye-catching at the same time! No mini-appetite caps for the hollow tooth but servings for connoisseurs! Delicious wines! What does the connoisseur want more??

This is a top resturant, but with reasonable prices for what you get. This is a fine dining experience with large tables set well apart. The staff speak ecellent English and are happy to explain the food and wine. There are a numbe of set...menus, or you can choose a la carte. Our group of 6 went for the a la carte and were not disappointed.

This is an excellent restaurant in an old scholastic which offers excellent silver service. The food is good and the dining room is impressive.
