Shawarma Damascus - Reservar una mesa

I stopped in for a quick lunch at this restaurant. The decor was minimal, and I had to wait in line due to a rush. They offered a wide selection of wraps and platters. I tried the Shawarma platter, which was delicious and came with an assortment of sides such as rice, potatoes, salad, parsley, pita, and more. However, I was a bit uncomfortable with how much they used their hands in preparing the food, even though they did wear gloves. Maybe I'm just picky. But overall, I did enjoy the meal.

Shawarma Damascus is the top shawarma spot in Kingston, surpassing its sister restaurant Shawarma El Mina. Avoid visiting right after 5pm as it gets extremely crowded with customers ordering large family platters. However, at any other time, you can share a Large plate with a friend as the portions are huge. The food is fresh, delicious, and served quickly when there isn't a long line. This restaurant is a must-visit for us whenever we are in the area and is a hidden gem!

I lived in the Middle East and I’m so happy we have this great restaurant in Kingston. Superb, authentic food, and lovely people. I’m here now waiting for my falafels and they just gave me some lentil soup to try. Love this place. I hope one day they can expand to be a full sit-down restaurant, instead of mainly takeout.
