Shield's Restaurant Bar Pizzeria

Great food, great memories!. Shield's was a frequent stop for my family. We'd stop in once or twice a month on our own, and more frequently when family visited from out of state. Love the food and the quality of staff. Whenever I'm in Michigan, I always have to stop at Shield's. <br/ <br/ Love going there even more as an adult. I can order whatever I want now, instead of picking off what I didn't want from the supreme my parents always ordered. I'm picky though. Personal recommendation is the barbecue chicken pizza. One of the best I've ever eaten!

Living close by Shields, my wife orders pizza and pasta. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. The order takes a few minutes longer but the calm atmosphere and kind customer service more than makes up for the wait. Before the pandemic dining in was a blast! There’s karaoke and good music that goes along with a good meal for the right price.

I love the VIP pizza that is loaded with toppings. Not sure what pizza the other reviewer normally eats...the large is not huge compared to lots of other places serving up deep dish. Sauce has a different taste than most (sweet tasting). Order up and enjoy.

My favorite pizza place to come to when I visit Southfield from Vegas . I’ve been eating here about two years now and it never disappoints. I love traveling and trying all kinds of pizza and I have to say, Detroit style is top 5.

The pizza was great! The service WAY WAY TOO SLOW!!!!!! Saturday was fun because they had some jazz and big band music playing live. The service wasn't slow because of that...just terrible slow.
