dinner for 2. eating was excellent and good service, but I was disappointed by the bill. £105 for 2 appetizers two net and broth. 8 pounds for a bottle-sect! we had two and two glasses. worse, £8 for 2 poppadome and a teeny bowl with spicy shaking and a splash of chutney. I'm glad I didn't bring the children, or I have to kill the house! while eating is good, some of the prices are somewhat ridiculous, so I don't return from this reason. there is a sign at the door that the price on the menu is not the price they pay. but I'm pretty sure this is illegal. they need to charge the displayed price so that the menu needs to be changed. at least when ordering with the customer to consult as most o...

My husband Manj and I are visiting here from Canada. We were recommended to try this place and so glad we did. This is the most authentic Indian food that we have ever had. It is a family run business that has been passed down through the generations.Now being run by Tabby (3rd generation) who is a very nice man.Tabby gave us 10 customer service. The portions were perfect, the flavour was impeccable and the service was second to none. So please make sure you try Shafiq's Shimla Cottage. You will not regret it Manj and Lynn Singh

my partner and I had lunch here on Friday night. it was clean, welcoming and the personal looked for detail. they had a group of young waiters who learned their trade. they were all polite, friendly and were a loan to their seniors. it was great, the gras was also excellent. to round it off, one of the friendly staff offered to drive us to the house when we were asked to book a taxi. we'll be back soon, great!

since 1973, excellent eating, friendly staff many regular customers. Very good. we have been going to Shimla Hut for over six years and have never been disappointed by the staff, the food or the friendly reception. still as good as always april 2022 dishes are freshly prepared and are always something else, every time that makes an interesting culinary experience.

tonight with the family and 9 of us all agreed, it was a success! eating was nice and fresh, nan brot also super. all the workers were beautiful, a gentleman went mainly from his way to our 3yr old enkelin, who also enjoyed their eating. will definitely return and would recommend this place!
