Upon entering the restaurant, you are welcomed by the aroma of wonderful spices. The dishes were delicious. While one entree was served promptly, unfortunately the second entree arrived at the same time as the main course. The goat curry was tasty, but the real highlight was the 'egg hopper'. The egg was fluffy and silky, with a perfectly runny yolk that combined wonderfully with the curry sauce. I would return to this restaurant, but next time I would order less food.
The food at this restaurant is amazing. I have only been to their Friday night banquet, which was fantastic value. There were a wide variety of curries, entrees, sides, rotis, sambals, and more to try, along with a delicious dessert. The staff were friendly and helpful in explaining each dish. I also appreciated that they offer BYO. I am excited to return to this restaurant in the future.
Authentic flavors from childhood, it sure was a symphony of memories reawakened, reliving many happy occasions from home. Agree with other comments, don't forget the hoppers, the contrasting textures and tastes makes it an absolute delight! Still can't go past my favorite String Hoppers with Potato and Chicken curry with Coconut Sambal hard to believe this was had for breakfast!
Food is authentic Sri Lankan buffet on Friday Saturday is good value. Don't forget to order hoppers it's so so good. Price very reasonable. Staff friendly but you need to call them they will not come ask you anything. Guess not trained in hospitality. However food is good clean interior. Even imported beer was $5. Overall rating 4.2*
