The hotel itself is very good. Very friendly and attentive staff, the rooms are clean and tidy and the breakfast rich. For a stay between hiking tours absolutely recommended! Since it is located in the middle of the old town, one should be aware that there are also everyday noises in the late evening and in the early morning. For this, central places are easily accessible on foot and as a small secret tip is the in approx. 800 meters away to mention free parking Friedrichstal. (I leave the Corona restrictions completely outside). The price/performance ratio is correct. We say thank you and would come back anytime!
The hotel is very centrally located in the old town of Detmold, so you start walking or cycling from a convenient position. The staff was friendly and always fulfilled wishes. Corona certainly wasn't the normal condition, but the hotel still enjoyed us very well. Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel restaurant deserves a special mention.
