Stonewood Grill Tavern

This is a perfect neighborhood steakhouse with just the right casual style that you are going to dress or dress. The bar has some TVs and is a lot of size. Large menu with all steakhouse elements you would expect. The cook on an open flame and that's like a real meat eater! I tried the beef and a wedge salad and they were great. The beef dip was a massive sandwich served with lots of Au Jus and horseradish. The wedge was right with lots of bacon and blue cheese. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Totally great experience. I've been there twice this week and I'll go back tomorrow while I'm in town for business.

The smoked salmon appetizer was delicious. My girl had the Cajun Chicken pasta with spinach, no flavor which was REALLY surpsing, and pasta was overcooked. I had the Caribbean Jerk shrimp and scallops, with coconut milk rice. Very tasty! No 5 stars because not much service, more of an infrequent fly by check in.

Good food and good service. The Caribbean Jerk Shrimp and Scallops were a seasonal special and had really good taste, but I would have wanted a little more coconut rice and salsa if you got the price. My server Faith was attentive and helpful and really added the experience. I'm back.

My wife and I ate here with a friend. Our Tony server was exceptional. The food, ambience and service were very good. I'd definitely eat again here.
