One rainy evening in SE Calgary, my son and I had a hankering for sushi. We have been here before and loved it, but not the better part of a year.We both like the floating sushi bar, but find that sitting by these little boats with lots of desirable sushi is way too tempting and we end up eating way too much.So, we asked for a table and ordered out green tea (you have to have green tea when you eat sushi, it is a food law, I think). We ordered a Ginza boat deluxe with soup, salad and a combination of sushi, sashimi and rolls. It is supposed to be for two, but, boy, is it a lot of food. There seems to be dozens of places to have sushi now a days in Calgary. It is available in all grocery stores, food fairs, and full restaurants. Depending on what you like between the 5 basic types this place covers it all pretty nicely. To sit down in the restaurant is clean and comfortable with a great Asian atmosphere or sit at a wonderful floating bar for a serve yourself style that beats ordering off a menu like every other restaurant in town. It is nice to see what you choose to eat floating by freshly made rather than off a picture in a menu. If you want something specific you can ask right there and it is served up directly to you. What surprised us the most is how fresh each and every ingredients were. Usually there's always something unripe or overripe or fish that's not so fresh. Here everything from the avocados, mango, tuna or salmon was absolutely perfect! We also had a quinoa salad as an appetizer and it was really good. Service was excellent as they welcomed us within seconds and our server did a wonderful job. Food was served quickly and the lady was very nice. We shared the tiramisu cheesecake and again surprised how good it was. It was very tasty and you could really taste the coffee, we loved it!

Parking available. The restaurant has a cozy ambiance with authentic Japanese décor and a sushi bar where you can watch the chefs prepare your food. The menu has a wide variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes. The fish is always fresh and the presentation is impeccable. We went here for lunch while visiting Calgary. The bento lunch specials were good. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with a water feature and bridge in the middle of it. Our server was friendly and provided good service.

Stopped in for a quick bite. Sushi bar was a floating sushi bar. Great to be able to pick what you want with little wait. Constantly being made fresh. Look forward to coming back with friends and family.

Really great lunch, fresh and tasty, made to feel very welcome with are infant son. Happy to pack up my leftovers when I ordered too much, will go again.
