Stopped in Kamloops on the way to Vancouver and went for dinner. Based on reviews decided to give the Sushi Valley a try and we are very happy we did. Don't we fooled by the size of the restaurant [it only has 6 tables] it serves first rate food. We were provided with complementary appetizers while we waited for our food by very friendly staff. Both my wife and I ordered Bento Boxes and they were excellent. To start the miso soup was hot and flavourful, the salad was fresh and flavourful, the chicken outstanding, great tempura, and the sushi fresh and melt in you mouth. The title really says it all. We were passing through Kamloops on our way home to Vancouver, from Calgary, and needed some food. We called Sushi Valley after seeing a high review on Yelp, and having been too late to catch a nearby sushi place the night before when we pulled into our hotel in Calgary. We didn't order a lot because we weren't super hungry, but what we did order was lovely. Well presented, tasty, and as I mentioned, the organic tamari sauce (in lieu of traditional soy sauce) allowed me to avoid GMO soy! Next time I am in Kamloops, I will consider Sushi Valley again, if I fancy sushi!
Would highly recommend sushi valley in kamloops! I come here when I can and the staff is always consistent and super friendly and welcoming. The food quality never disappoints, always fresh and the service is fast. Prices are reasonable since food is so fresh and the portions are big! Small restaurant (only 7) tables so it may be busy and packed during dinner but the workers still do their best to accommodate everyone. They usually always give us free food to test out as well which is amazing! Cute atmosphere and would recommend to any one I know!:)
Was blown away by how great this restaurant was compared to the size (about 6 tables) the staff greeted me when me and my friends walked in and were very accommodating to my friend who is gluten free, they had a special menu for him to look at that offered options to not only gluten free customers, but vegan, vegetarian and dairy free people as well! The food was fresh and fast and the portions were so large, prices weren't that bad either. Will definitely be back again!

I randomly stopped in because I had a craving for sushi and I'm so glad that I chose this place! Service was quick and friendly, the price was right and the meal was delicious! It's a small restaurant so make a reservation or come early! They also offer discounts to military, police, fire-fighters and paramedics, which I find very respectable and awesome. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!!
We arrived here thanks to tripadvisor suggestion as the restaurant is small and not in the centre. Inside is a very nice place, with a warm atmosphere. Food is amazing!! We ordered many things (expecially our kids...) and everything was great, very fresh food, great cooked stuff and nice complementary starter. Definitely the best japanese in the city...for the food and family atmosphere as well!
Went in for a bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised. The service was great! Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Not to mention my food was delicious! The recommendation my server gave me (the crazy boy roll) is my new favourite! I definitely will be back, and probably ordering pick up soon!
usually sushi isnt my thing since im a vegetarian but the waitress recommended the tofu teriyaki to me and it was great! the service was quick and my friends sushi came fast as well! they even gave us vegetarian spring rolls on the house! new favourite place!

If you are passing through Kamloops and feel like Japanese food this is the place to stop. Also very quick and really nice people.
