Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks

This is a beautiful Greek Town, with a beautiful Greek population! Opa! This is an amazing place to spend the day or a whole week. The food, the shopping, the entertainment, are a whole experience! If you want to experience Greece and never leave the country, Tarpon Springs is the place to visit! Bring you appetite and you wallet, so you can shop and eat local and feel like you traveled internationally.

Lots of great stores and many of them are different. That's what I appreciate about this area. Wonderful Greek restaurants, of course. I prefer Mama's which is off the main drag by just one block. If you sit outside you have a view of two alleyways with shops and grocery stores and you really feel like you're dining in Europe. Great place to take visiting friends.

Hippie fest was tonight It was a great evening great music right bands everybody hung out had a great time nobody got out of control just a great atmosphere went and ate at the restaurant mamas ordered flaming cheese had a few more drinks then drink water waited a while and went home. Had such a great evening and a lot of laughs met some really nice folks

Fun place to walk around and look at all the shops with lots of great Greek restaurants and pastry shops. Good fun for the family. it cost $5 or $10 but there’s usually lots of parking.

We enjoyed a brief walk down the main dock visiting shops along the way. This is the perfect little town to stop in for lunch or dinner!
