Oh man, where do I begin? We were passing by and decided to stop in because we’ve always heard such great things about Taste of Jerusalem. I was a bit hesitant since we were the first customers of the day, but the place filled up quickly! If you’re looking for a quick meal, this is not the spot for you. However, if you want to spend time enjoying good conversation and companionship, then this is the perfect place! They serve freshly baked pita with five different sauces to sample. The food is fresh, and the portions are generous—if you leave hungry, it will be your own fault! We will definitely be back! I tried the #52, which is the plate with rice.
Without a doubt, this is the best Halal Persian food in Pensacola. They offer complimentary bottled water, bread, and six different types of dips, whether you're dining alone or with a family of eight. The prices are reasonable, and the service is very welcoming. I've visited twice from Texas and will definitely return whenever I'm in Pensacola, FL. P.S. The restaurant is open all day on both Saturday and Sunday, despite what it says about being closed on Sundays and only open until 4 PM on Saturdays. TripAdvisor, please correct this information.
What a pleasure to the taste buds!!! It began with 5 different dips with a basket of bread (naan) that were all so incredibly tasty!! I had the Oxi Chicken that was magnificent!! Way too much for one person, but Iook forward to leftovers tomorrow. The chicken shawarma and gyro sandwich were all a hit with the group. Also had the ribeye and chicken skewers that was also amazing. Not one complaint from anyone!!
Hummus very good. Garlic sauce fabulous. Combine on pita yum. Half chicken tasty, rice too. Wasn't fond of chicken shwarma spices too strong, not so tasty. Service can be surly, erratic... or friendly. Many unique imported food items I'd never seen. Like, I got chocolate coated fig bits, much like chocolate coated raisins, only figs. Open late. The hotel is located in the old Oscars and the location needs something DC, but the food is delicious. Everything was clean. Food is not half or kosher for the questions. The owner son served us and said the family was from Israel. Food tastes authentic and venerate the small foods with difficult to find Mediterranean spices. I had the shrimp stew. You also have a wide range of vegetarian options
The reviews were certainly misleading. The chicken was dry. The hummus was cold. The free pita bread they offer with the sauces was cold and difficult to chew. The picture below is two serving of fries just so you know! Like really??The food is served in styrofoam containers which makes the experience all the more underwhelming.Came for the reviews. Leaving with an honest one !
Excellent, brilliant, amazing!!! From the view outside was not quite sure how this place would go.... It looked quite wrong, so wondered if I would like it... But if you go into his amazing. The staff is attentive, and the food comes, starting with all the sauces and the Pita bread, it is zenith! The music is beautiful, the food is fresh and delish!!!
A very nice experience for a late open dinner place! It is one of these older style places and they also have a market of international food. The kebab was delicious and the rice was excellent along with the starter!! I'll definitely be over again! Reserva una mesa ahora
