What a charming little medieval pub right by Windsor Castle! This is exactly what a pub should be! The location is enchanting, and the building gave me the feeling of being transported back in time. The people inside were very friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. We only had drinks, but since it was Christmas, we enjoyed some mulled wine, which was delightful.

This is a fantastic pub with excellent beer and a friendly staff. It's conveniently located near Windsor Castle. I visited on a December night when the Household Cavalry band was playing Christmas carols to a crowd of nearly 1000 people. It was an amazing experience!

Nice hot spot in Windsor, if you are lucky you can find yourself a nice view from upstairs. Just ask the staff to see if are seats avaliable in upstairs room with a view. The food was nice, nice prices.

old secular pub directly opposite the burg. great atmosphere. I did not eat this time, but already. good menu, many possibilities.
