Super friendly hotel in a beautiful village. A must for alternative art lovers. ! Excellent food, amazing customer service, well worth a visit,. Frank is a great host. A most enjoyable weekend. Rooms: All different, some in vibrant colours. Nearby activities: Andrew Logan museum. Walkability: Beautiful walks along the Montgomery canal. 5 mile walk to Welshpool . Food drinks: Excellent food. Noteworthy details: Hotel is owned by renowned artist Andrew Logan. All rooms are different, with his artworks in glass and water colours all over the hotel. Gorgeous. 5 mins walk away is his museum, well worth a visit.

Pub accommodation with a difference! Each room has a theme. We stayed in the blue room, lovely and quiet overlooking the churchyard. Nice and comfy, in a pretty village. Good beer, the evening meal we had was top class. Breakfast in the morning was lovely too. The management and staff were very helpful, friendly and supportive. Highly recommended. Rooms: 5

Called for sunday lunch today 30/10/2022. The staff provided a brilliant level of service and the chef made me something that wasn’t on the menu. We had excellent banter with the bar and waiting staff. We were all very pleased with all aspects of the meal. Would highly recommend. Service: 5 Location: 5
