The Melting Pot - Brookfield

The Melting Pot is all about the experience ... But unfortunately this experience was not really great. To start, the 4 course fondue was delicious The alpine cheese and mojo boil were super yummy.The only issue we had with the food was that the bread was hard and stale and the cheese board looked hastily tossed together. Back to the experience part of the meal, that 's where things for rough. Our waitress was friendly but she seemed like she was struggling so much to handle her tables and it was seriously impacting her level of service . I have been to the Melting Pot Many, many times and this is the first time I had a complaint about the food. The tenderloin was not tender and had lots of fat and grizzle in it. They replaced it for us but it was more of the same. All the other meats were good though. There was no pineapple for the fondue and that was VERY disappointing. The strawberries were not as nice as I have seen in the past. I will go back but this time was more disappointing than my other visits. They did give us 10% off for our issues.

Alexis was our server tonight. She was our server in July, the last time we were there. We loved her then and we loved her still. I think she'll remain special to us forever because of the extra special touch she did for our son's birthday who's now in heaven). She's got a great personality and does whatever she can to make the night and meal special. Food was delicious as always.

took a bit to get a table even with a reservation but our server and food was all absolutely amazing. well worth the hour drive.
