The Red Lion Inn Redbourne

There were a good amount of vegan options available at this small village pub with a limited menu. The food was excellent - we particularly enjoyed the rich and delicious vegan cheese and onion pie. The vegan burger was a unique quinoa patty style rather than a traditional meat substitute. The vegan lasagne was also tasty. Portion sizes were generous and the prices were reasonable. Overall, a great dining experience.

We decided to try out the Red Lion for the first time tonight after finding it on Happy Cow. I ordered the vegan lasagne and my partner had the vegan curry. The food was clearly homemade and delicious. I especially enjoyed the lasagne. We enjoyed our meal by the cozy open fire, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We went to the Red Lion for the first time tonight after we had surpassed it on Happy Cow. I had the (vegan) Lasagne and my partner had the (vegan). Curry the food was cooked at home and really delicious. I loved the lasagna. We sat at the open fire, it was nice and the staff was also really friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

There aren't many options for vegans and if you visit during lunchtime, you'll have to dine in the pub bar rather than the restaurant. Unfortunately, the bar is quite small.

Not much choice for vegans and if you have to eat lunch you need to eat in the pub bar not the restaurant and unfortunately the bar is very small
