The Rose And Crown

my sister and I had just arrived from sa and didn't know it was mother's day. we have tried to eat in the rose crown chilton at lunchtime, which were of course completely booked. the very friendly man behind the counter said if we were happy to wait an hour, he would help how good he could. it was worth waiting. it was absolutely delicious. what an astonishing Sunday disgust offer. we will be sure to book in time this week. what a tasty bite. and also thank you for a friendly service. we felt so welcome.

My sister and I had just arrived from SA and didnt know it was Mothers Day. We tried to have lunch at The Rose Crown Chilton, who naturally, were fully booked. The very friendly man behind the counter said if we were happy to wait an hour, he would assist as best he could. It was well worth the wait. It was absolutely delicious. What an amazing Sunday roast offering. We shall be sure to book in time this week. What a treat. And thank you also for such friendly service. We felt so welcome.

We have just been to the pub for steak night. OMG It was amazing. Such good value and food was excellent. Shay makes you very welcome. We come over from Windsor to see my sister and brother in law and visited the pub with them a few times now. Can't praise them enough.

Great village pub. Shay the owner was a great host very clean, fire lit and lovely to able to hear each other talk. Something of a novelty these days

Lovely freshly cooked meal, and very friendly and efficient landlord too. Would highly recommend, ashamed I don't live closer!!
