We stayed in room number 341. It is the street facing room in the annex. The bathroom was good sized, although by no means luxurious. The room was cramped. For some reason it had to side chairs. The important feature of those is that neither my husband, nor I could fit our hips in those. And we are not happy people. The room would be better without them. There is a luggage rack, and the closet is roomy. 40-inch (max? TV mounted above the desk far from the bed. Windows open, which is necessary for cooling, but there is so much street noise even late at night. We chose to stay here because of the location and that was the defining feature of the place. The room we got was beautiful. Good location in a quiet area but only 10-15 minutes walk from the main town center. Service was good and staff were friendly. It's just weird how we have to leave our keys at the front desk every time we leave the place.

I have booked a room in the Royal Scots Club for lunch to celebrate my wedding and it was a great choice. The place is beautiful, the food was delicious and the service excellent. I highly recommend it!
