Stopped here on spec when passing through, they serve good quality traditional pub food . My wife and I both went for the £10 meal deal which was very good value for money, good sized portions and very tasty. Although it is very much a locals pub all locals and the staff were all extremely friendly. We will definitely stop here next time we are passing . thank you for making us feel so welcome

The white hart is a lovely pub. The sort that we used to have before all these impersonal pub chains started. The staff are very friendly and efficient and look after you as an individual not just a number. Food was homemade, well cooked and delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. Overall very good value too. An excellent day out. Highly recommended

Recently (2021) taken over after a long time under successful and popular owner. Approached with a bit of trepidation but was very pleased. Nice and warm welcome, friendly staff, jolly customers! Greatly enjoyed the beer Butty Bach. I hope it's a regular I live very near.

Stayed in our camper overnight and popped in for some drinks. Lovely oldy worldly pub. Staff were great and it had a really nice locals type vibe where everyone knew each other.

nice pub on a rainy day! fire went, jazz game, eating was very delicious. great experience on our trip.
