Two Twenty Seafood

I had a quick work trip to Henderson, NC and wanted to eat at a local favorite. One of my college friends recommend 220. The parking lot was packed when I arrived, so I was excited to see what the hype was about. It is a typical NC seafood restaurant without flair or distraction decor. They come here to eat to run into old friends and family and get a feeling for the community. My table for one was immediately greeted by my friendly waitress. I said it was my first time she went through the menu. I usually drink water when I eat, but today a sweet tea. It was definitely sweet tea, with lots of ice and sugar. Because I didn’t order when the server came to the table, I had to wait 10 minutes before my server came back. From the Time I placed my order until I got my food. It took 25 minutes. when I got my food at best, it was warm and soggy. When I paid my bill, the cashier asked how was my dinner? I told her I was very disappointed with my dinner. She asked me why, and I told her that the food was only warm and that I had waited 25 minutes for the food. The cashier blamed me For not telling the server that the food was only warm, And in the future that I should tell the server if I want hot food, all the while making change with my money. The food wasn't good, no seasoning,I ordered oysters, fish and scallops, the scallops were bitter,I couldn't eat them,the fish and oysters were okay,but needed some seasoning! take time to season the food and I think you'll have more customers than you can handle.i like this place ,but as I said....... season the food and find out why the scallops are Bitter!!

We had a party of 7 on a Thursday evening at about 6 pm. We were seated immediately and our waitress was excellent. The food was delicious as always. Their hush puppies are awesome.
