Vanilla Orchid - Reservar una mesa

Went with another couple to Vanilla Orchid for the first time to celebrate my wife's birthday. Very impressive layout in a quiet part of the suburbs in Warrandyte, by the river. We heard good reviews but wanted to try ourselves to see if it meets our Asian taste having lived I. Malaysia for over 40 years. The menu has a good choice and we ordered feedback the fish, tom yam, beef and others. Asked for it to be very spicy and they did not hold back the chilly. My wife thought it was the best birthday present and she wants to go back with a larger group of Malaysian friends who all like chilies. Great Thai experience.

I'm not a Thai food person, but it was my wife's birthday and she loves Thai so we went along to Vanilla Orchid on the strength of TA reviews as well as friend's recommendation. I was pleasantly surprised with the freshness of the food and the taste. Admittedly we had very plain dishes for my sake, but I thoroughly enjoyed them (we had sate chicken, spring rolls, curry puffs & pad siew). My wife had dessert which she said was amazing (lime panna cotta with mango coulis and coconut ice cream). Staff were great and explained dishes well. Food came out quickly. Was very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

We just had our wedding anniversary lunch here. We felt compelled to after the glowing reviews on here. We weren't disappointed! The service from our waitress was outstanding and the food from the entrees to mains were just fantastic. The flavours all went well together and everything was cooked perfectly.We couldn't have asked for a better experience and I think this will be our new Thai food destination from now on.

Often get takeaway Thai from here. This is a great local Thai and you need to book early to eat in. However great quality food can still be had with takeaway. Love the red and green chicken curry!

Very nice all round. The decor is high quality. The service prompt and courteous. The food excellent. And all at a reasonable price. Recommended.
