Western City Bagel

I have never left a review of an establishment, but this place made me feel so incredibly unwelcome, that I have to leave a review. Today I wanted to try this bagel spot. I had never eaten here before so I was unsure if items came with things like lettuce, tomato, caper, cucumber, etc. While looking over the menu, I asked the worker what came on the cream cheese and lox bagel. She then said, Okay, just pick a bagel. I then said, Okay, but what comes on the cream cheese and lox bagel. At this point I was hoping she would say something like, Oh, cream cheese, salmon, etc. Or you can add certain items. Again, I 've never been here before and wasn 't sure how they made their bagels. I walked in, and the guy working there was nice, but as I was waiting for my order to be taken, I saw flies literally walking on the bagels, not flying, walking over. And these weren't tiny nats either. That was really off putting. I then looked up to see they wanted $9.50 for a breakfast bagel? Huh? Something was off with those prices. At that point, I actually just told the guy sorry I needed to go do something else.

1. Service was extremely slow took 10 minutes with no line.2. Bacon Egg and Cheese is $9! WHAT?Even a normal bagel and cream cheese will run you $4.50 which is crazy for how small it is3. Everything is cooked in a microwave.CONCLUSION GO TO BAGEL FACTORY!The bagels are much bigger cheaper and taste way better.

Staff was nice but bagels are below average for a bagel cafe. Comparable quality to a grocery store bought bag of bagels. No reason for us to go back. We hope to find a better go-to breakfast bagel place in the area.
