Where do I start? For beginners, if the rating allows for negative stars, I would award them -5 stars. Next we talk about the parking situation. I prize them with the title for “The Worst Parking Lot in Portsmouth”. Enough. Since the day I walked here, I don't know why I brought my money to this business regularly. I am all for supporting local business, but this is far from anything spectacular. Super overestimated. I was never impressed with her service here. I don't know what was with the review before me, but this person was so hard and White Heron is a fabulous place with which I had nothing but wonderful experiences. Okay, so the parking lot is not good, but for me it's not a deal breaker. All working people are beautiful and I had a lot of conversations with them. I love that they use compostable cups/Utensils etc. Your vegan options are fantastic. You always have two vegan muffin options and in the afternoon usually two vegan donut options. They are baked donuts, but not in any way. The flavors are unique and tasty. They are always ready to check ingredients and make a lot of their syrups including their Chai Latte concentrate) in the house...

A friend gave me a small tin of Moroccan Mint Green Tea he bought at White Heron. Midday, after the Mar 7 snowstorm, I 'm sitting here enjoying a large cup of it. All sorts of memories. I tried all the recipes in the Boy Scout Handbook as a kid, including mint tea, and learned to love it. Later, when my college roommate, who was from Jordan, invited me to visit his family and his homeland, I drank gallons of it as we went from house to house, visiting old friends. But now, the apartment is full of the aroma, and I 'm enjoying this full-bodied tea to no end. I come to White Heron a lot, and it is by far the best cafe in Portsmouth surrounding areas in NH. Not only is it a nice atmosphere, but the people that work here/ run it are so so sweet and lovely. They are the only ones around that offer vegan baked good options! And they are so so good. The donuts are always amazing and I love their chai and matcha lattes. There are a lot of options and I'm so happy I live up the street :

Delicious! Tofu scrambled egg, oash, vegan sausage. Ethiopian medium roast coffee. Everything was delicious. The pack was huge! I am happy to go back in the future and try other foods and teas. Parking is small, but on a Saturday morning at 11:00 there were 2 seats. High customer turnover, so also spots change. I like that they do everything in their power to recycle and compost. More than me at home.
