Winifreds - Reservar una mesa

We saw some good reviews and nice food photos from Winifreds so went for our first time today. What a disappointment! My wife had a chicken burger which was ok, but the side of stale cold corn chips on the side was pretty uninspiring (I am trying to be polite here). My sausage roll was completely overcooked and dark brown and hard. The coffee was good though. For the amount we paid, we certainly won't be going back. Considering the nice food pics we've seen previously from here I wonder what has happened... Save your money and go to one of the much nicer cafe's down the road.

Good coffee was had by all. The barista was very friendly but must have been very deaf as he was enjoying his music to a higher decibel than my poor ears could handle. Ver well frequented and was most surprised that a Wega machine could produce such good coffee. Did not really eat here but the patrons were enjoying their food. Sitting near the window was a mistake as the flies were buzzing around me. Overall a happy place.

I live locally and think this is such a cute corner cafe. I would become a more regular customer if they used bonsoy (like so many other cafes do) It really does taste a lot better than So Good soy milk.And their openings hours vary as my partner turned up recently at 6.40am to a closed cafe when they advertise as opening at 6.30am. He wasn't happy.Winifred's has loads of potential and I wish them all the best.

Had breakfast here recently and loved that I could have a vegan friendly meal while my husband had the works! Staff are so lovely with just the right amount of chat : )Great spot to sit looking out to the gardens. Love that there is always a vegan cupcake available - even for breakfast.

Found this delightful corner coffee place while waiting for our twin grandchildren to be born. Such friendly lovely people, spotlessly clean and good coffee. Food looked very appealing and looking at the customers well frequented. One downer - the noise and flies!!
