The restaurant should be aware that travelers from the USA may face some payment issues. They only accept cash and debit cards, so I attempted to pay with my debit card, but unfortunately, US debit cards didn't work. Since we didn't have any Canadian dollars, we asked if we could pay in US dollars, but they informed us that we would need to pay the equivalent amount in Canadian dollars. We ended up going to a nearby ATM.

As for the level 2 Yupduk, it tasted overwhelmingly spicy—almost like pure capsaicin—unlike the previous times I've had it. The egg soup was really bland, too. It seems that when you order close to closing time, the quality of food suffers. I didn't receive my meal until 9:55 PM. Overall, this experience was disappointing.

Used to be funtastic, but it is now incredibly expensive for what you get. I understand the price going up, but the quality, quantity, and the service should, at least, stay where they are, not going down. There are many many alternatives if you drive a few kilometres more.

mistkerl ttokboki. I've never eaten one that has such a fish taste. was eaten this Korean court and decided to give yupduk an attempt. was a bit hesitant because the reviews are so bad. they win it a try and the reviews were right! will not come back here.

We tried the cheese and very spicy Korean rice cake. We ordered it at spicy level 1, but it was still too hot for me. However, the food, atmosphere, and customer service were all decent. It's definitely worth a try!
