Buen genero ,buena cocina, y muy buena gente,todos los platos estan deliciosos,lo digo por que siempre que estoy en a Pobra visito asiduamente este restaurante, y se que sirven genero de calidad
Día de mercadillo. Personal atento pero descoordinado. Comida rica y casera,quizás un pelín lento. Se ve parte de la cocina y la elaboración de la comida.
we have enjoyed many visits in casa manolo and were always very impressed by the quality of the domestic cooking dishes. the service of the owners and their team is friendly and attentive. fantastic traditional Galician dishes and the tortilla and fried chipirones. are always the stars of the show. highly recommended.
here twice during our week stay in puebla. eating is excellent. all haunted by manolo's wife. all fresh and based on season. all the dishes we tried were exceptional, but the tortilla was one of the best and if it was the right season. be sure the almejas babosas, unbelievable! great eating for a reasonable price!
eating here is the first class, although a bit expensive. the owner has to cheer a little. I've eaten a few times here and never seen him smile. However, there are better restaurants in this city and cheaper therefore only 4 stars.
great place to eat. the owner is a bit grumpy, and I think it is his wife that makes all fantastic quality Spanish eat. well worth a visit, but please cheer mr manono
Small but cozy restaurant, my family and I were very comfortable; EXCELLENT food at a reasonable price taking into account the quality of the products and the preparation. Do not hesitate to try the wonderful tortilla if you have a chance.
We were walking around in A Pobra and chose this place for lunch more or less at random. What great luck! This is a blue-collar sort of place, and several regulars popped in for a glass at the bar while we were eating. We started...with polio (octopus) in Galician seafood sauce, which was fabulous. This was followed by steamed clams in a butter sauce. this was followed, at our host's insistence by braised beef, that has to be about the best pot roast I've eaten in decades. All of this was accompanied by fresh rustic bread and a couple of glasses of Estrella Galicia. Manuel runs the front waiting tables, tending bar, etc., while his wife does the cooking. If you're ever in A Pobra, make a point of looking this place up for a meal. You won't be disappointed.
