Set in a delightful spot on the quayside this professionally run little restaurant serves good food at competitive prices. Good old fashioned Spanish service by a team of people who work hard to ensure you have a good time, great food, nicely kept wine and chilled beer. I think I might be tempted to turn the tables 90 degrees so everyone gets a view of the marina I had my back to it and felt those opposite where looking past me almost all of the time. I would be very happy to go back and try other dishes, which I think is a testament of how good everything was. Hope you get a chance to enjoy it yourself.
The restaurant is facing the marina which is stunning, we arrived by our boat and it’s very picturesque. Our lunch was very tasty, my husband had a squid which was super fresh and very tasty,I love squid and I eat a lot of it when I’m in Spain. I had clams with garlic marinerie and that was very well done too. When you wait for your food they serve you freshly baked bread roll. The service was amazing, friendly and nothing was a trouble, especially David. After our lunch we got a free drink on the house which was a nice touch. We got back for a dinner on the next day, ordered steak and seafood kebab, it was lovely too.
Really great view of the Marina. We all ordered different meals and everyone was happy with the food. David was very welcoming and we had a lovely afternoon.
Marina del Este is a lovely place to be on a summers evening , David always makes you very welcome, good service food.
After sitting down we were offered the fresh fish or steak. These were brought out on a plate and we opted for the sea bream. I made it quite clear the fish needed to be completely filleted. I can 't help it but fish bones make me gag. It 's not a pretty sight. 15 minutes later when our fish should have been cooking, same plate, same fish, same steak gets shown to another table. Our fish is served soon after. It was neither fresh or tasty. Dry and overcooked and you guessed it, with bones in it. I admit just a few but the people who witnessed the Englishman gagging over his plate won 't forget that in a hurry. I complained but 'David ' couldn 't give a damm. My best guess is that the fish was pre cooked and the 'chef ' tried to remove the bones after. No apology, no offer of a drink, no replacement meal. Expensive, terrible food, awful service. I visit this area quite a lot and David just lost a customer but he almost certainly doesn 't care. AVOID!!
Took lunch as a large family group and left feeling sad that hospitality fell well short of normal Spanish standards. The outlook from the restaurant is splendid but I am afraid that us the only positive. The service was pushy. Fish and meat sold hard. Promised children's menu didn't exist and when pressed were just stated to be smaller portions of full a la carte. Saw no sign of pizzas advertised over doorway. Prices were very high and quality poor. I would walk on by if I ever visit again.
