Comenzaré mi opinión añadiendo que cada vez que salga con mi compañero para comer por algeciras nos tomamos el postre. La pastelería/cafetería es muy coqueta y acogedora para tomar un café caliente en invierno y tiene una amplia variedad de pasteles, lo que hace más divertido ir allí porque cada vez que se prueba uno diferente. el precio es muy asequible y también tiene muy buenas ofertas de desayuno. la atención del personal también debo decir que es muy bueno.
We came for lunch but there was not many good options so instead of leaving we said we would give it a chance and get there soomithes. There was five of us and we order all different smoothies, the waiter came back and said she could only do 2 of the smoothies, then my friend saw the waiter make it and just made one large batch and poured it into 5 glasses and gave it to us. Besides the smoothies and poor food options the service was also very shocking, the waiter had no interest in serving us and had no manners. 5.50€ for a smoothie I don’t even know wha was in it
Sadly the aggressive rude lady is still behind the cake and bread counter. If you can avoid this area. Sitting outside in plaza Alta is the perfect location for a coffee. Most of the waiters are very good. We had a range of different products on different days and found them to be very reasonably priced and consistent day to day. No soap in the toilets would be something to improve on especially in a good establishment.
The table was not cleaned before serving. Half of the order was not available but the waiter did not know it before. The food quality is bad, the panini turned out to be a toasted baguette, the croquetas ordered as a starter were served at the end. The ladies bathroom was dirty. Responsable refused to sign el libro de reclamaciones ...
The restaurant is located at a beautiful square, the Plaza Alta. The outdoor tables are hard to get but worth the wait. The food, including the desserts, is quite good.
It can get busy here along side the main town square but with the Christmas lights in the area it’s a fantastic place to sit. There is still a lot of confusion about ordering cakes and coffee often they need to be ordered separately which is strange. The service still appears to be better at this cafe than the other rude ok cafes. Coffee and cakes were very good.
Started visiting this cafe as our previous preferred place closed down. We have enjoyed nice coffee and service here. Unfortunately we had very bad rude service at the Okay round the corner and won’t go back, but so far this cafe on this beautiful square looking out onto the fountain has been wonderful.
