My wife and I visited the coffee shop or restaurant within the garden centre today this was the first time that we have had lunch in this restaurant on arrival we were first greeted by a member of staff that asked If we required lunch or just tea or coffee my wife said that we were there for lunch as we first entered the restaurant the place was more or less empty the member of staff chose to place us at a table next to the main entrance door everybody passed this table on there way in and out of the restaurant, when my wife and I looked at the lunch menu and discussed the variation of hot food on offer we were very disappointed my wife chose a tuna toasty and I chose a honey roast ham toast...

We had a wonderful late lunch at the tearoom located on a working family farm that also had a Christmas tree shop and a well-stocked farm shop with fresh eggs, cheeses, and other products. They offered a selection of beautiful homemade baked goods including scones and cakes. The soup was delicious and homemade, with a gluten-free option available. I had toasties with salad, while my companion enjoyed the Farmer's Lunch with a tasty broccoli and blue cheese quiche. We also enjoyed a high-quality cup of tea (Brodies) and purchased some items to enjoy later at our hotel. On a Virtual Spanish holiday this week. So a wee trip down the Clyde Coast. Visited Geilston Gardens using our National Trust card then had lunch at Ardardan Tearoom which is only a couple of hundred yards away. Lovely food and served by a great lady from Coleraine who made us most welcome. Covid rules in place. Was a lovely day and decided to eat outside but beware of the wasps if you are eating sweet things !!!! We both had a light lunch Macaroni and the other dish egg mayo sandwiches both superb.

This restaurant is a lovely, upbeat and energetic spot. It was larger than I anticipated and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I found the prices to be a bit on the higher side for the portion sizes. I ordered the Farmers Lunch, and was surprised by the small amount of ham compared to the large chunks of cheese. I have been coming here for many years and delighted to see how this business goes from strength to strength, and deservedly so. Its nice to see a working farm and also a restaurant and gift shop with fresh produce on offer. My friends visit is never the same without picking up their home made pate and Cyprus potatoes for later. good parking is always a bonus

Ardardan never disappoints with their delicious food and excellent service. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, especially the lentil soup which was so tasty I had to have seconds. We ended our meal with two large meringues and a cup of tea. I made a reservation for lunch and Julie, our server, was fantastic.

Enjoyed a delicious seafood salad for lunch. Generous portions of prawns, smoked salmon and trout pate, along with salad with poppy seed dressing and brown bread and butter. Very competitively priced, once ordered food came very quickly. Will definitely go again if in vicinity.

Best coffee and scone around, forgot to book in the current covid circumstances but they kindly accommodated us and we had a lovely morning coffee! Shopped in farm shop, cannot miss it, as always great selection of fresh local meat, veg and deli. Great spot to stop. Reserva una mesa ahora

Have been here 3 or 4 times over the years. Very attentive service and home made lunches and cakes. Very covid safe. Reasonable prices for the quality.

Nice late lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon, fresh tasty ingredients, presented well. Staff very efficient and attentive.
