My Wife, my 20 yr. old daughter and I wanted to enjoy an evening out. I had tried to call earlier to make a reservation, but noone answered the phone. When we walked up at 19:30, there were no other customers, inside or outside, yet present. An older employee smiled and signaled to me I should go inside. Inside I was greeted nicely by a younger man who asked if I had a reservation. When I said no, he said sorry we are full. I said since the place was empty and we were not planning on staying longer than 90 minutes or so, maybe it would be possible to get a table anyway? Spaniards usually eat later right? He answered no, we are full all night. So we went to another place and had a nice meal. Afterwards, not quite two hours later, we walked past the place on our way to have a drink down near the water and outside were two free tables and inside was totally empty. An hour later, again we past the place and it was still as empty as before. I guess they do not need my business and although we will still be in town for another week, I will never set foot in that place again. Too bad for them because when I like a restaurant I am a very loyal customer and do not mind paying more for good food and service!
