The first time we came to east meets west, on a sunday evening, it turned out to be karaoke night. The owner told us that every friday, saturday and sunday evening it's karaoke night, as he just loves that kind of party : It was great, we first had some currys, among which one with shark delicious! We also did a shisha, and had many Kingfisher beers. We really had to build the atmosphere by singing the first couple of songs, but then the other guests started to join. At the end of the night when we wanted to leave, we were invited to stay to celebrate one of the staff's birthday, by feeding each other cake, drinking another beer, and dancing together Indian style! They showed us quite some moves :P The owner asked us to come back next weekend for more karaoke, as he would love to have us back as guests. When we told him that we were flying back to Delhi next friday morning, he instantly offered to throw an extra karaoke night on thursday especially for us but only if we'd be there. Ofcourse, we agreed, and ended up having an even better night than the first one! This was on the last day of Diwali. We all really respected the staff for their loyalty and dedication to the restaurant, as there were here and not with their families. The man who lead the whole karaoke thing was very, very friendly, and quite the singer! Would definitely recommend, and if I'm ever back in Goa, I would certainly go back here!
