I am still sat outside whilst I review this place. Superb food. With great sangria! A five minute walk from the sagrada familia. So if you do visit there whilst in Barcelona. Take time to try Punt Del Pla out. Very friendly staff.we ordered 5 plates of tapas, each one was amazing, full of flavour and well presented..so glad we stumbled across this lovely little restaurant.
Had dinner here tonight and loved the food. We ordered the seafood paella and there was a bit of a mixup as we assumed it was only seafood. The owner was kind enough to replace and add an extra meal. The paella was delicious to say the least. We enjoyed the starters of garlic prawns and Patata bravas. Having eaten too much we decided to share a dessert of banana pudding between three of us, but it was so awesome that we ordered two more. What a lovely place and great owner. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. A little hidden gem near Sagrada Familia.
We had a great diner at punt del pla. We had the paella menu which is 3 tapas, a big paella and a drink for 18€ pers. It was delicious! And the owner was really friendly. We would recommend it :
Without a doubt one of Barcelona's finest eateries. Beautiful, simple and simply exquisite food at remarkably good prices. We stumbled on this marvellous place after a visit to the Sagrada and counted ourselves lucky to have experienced two of the city's wonders in the one afternoon. Fabulous fish, delicious gazpacho, home made burgers for kids, drinks, dessert, coffee......all for €35....great service. Not to be missed.
Went to this place for lunch before visiting La Sagrada Familia and my wife and I were thoroughly impressed. Great food, attentive service and good all good value (an entree, main, dessert and drink for €8.95, with options to add more). This felt much more authentic than a lot of places in Barcelona claiming to be authentic! It was small and quiet with the owner running the show, with cooks out the back. One of the best dining experiences in Barcelona!
A quaint little place with the owner handling everything and two ladies in the kitchen. We had the menu for the day where you get an entrée, the main, dessert and beef, wine or water for less than €10. All the meals were excellent and we all enjoyed the food. Recommend fully.
Stopped off here on way to visit basicala. We had only stopped for a coffee but we were given the menu for lunch as well. It was great value, 3 course lunch and a drink for under 10 euros.
Excellent! Good quality for not a lot of money, i'm italian and i can say that this is mich better than a lot of italian restaurants, and also it is really close to sagrada familia!
