we are here, based on trip advisor. it turned out that it had changed ownership and it was the opening night. pizzas are in advance, not the traditional art. but well tasted. acceptable would be the best word to describe eating. we had hunger. if they can go on, then they do this and go to another pizza place.
I think young people who like tarantinos would like this place. beautiful place to sit with friends and have a little snack and drinks.
this was the first place I went to when I first came to barcelona! I've been here many times. a really cozy place, in the heart of el gótic, with friendly staff (for real and tasty cocktails. do not expect meals with restaurant class, but there are nice bites to go with their drinks.
my friend and I were on the hunt after typical tapas in the gothic quarter and were warning of the plastic tapas we warn. we found a lot of places that serve tapas that sound bad and was over price .but tarantinos was a little cheaper and had all tapas classics on the menu. we chose it because of what was a big mistake. the kalamari was like the consumption of rubber-filled teigns that were meatballs like the türkei dinos, the vegetables were unusable, it was disgusting and clearly all frozen. I felt sick for the rest of the evening even the big beer at bar mingus on the road couldn't quite clear my palette. they ignore all the reviews here. the tapas was appalling.
We paid only ?14 in total for a two person tapas meal with Sangria! Not the best tapas we have had, but still reasonably good and great value for money given the low prices.
Went here for a takeout last night- staff were friendly and pizza was made to order. We had chorizo and mushroom and got a great pizza for less than 9euros. Would recommend !
The staff was friendly, the food tasted good and we ate a lot for ?10 a person. The whole restaurant is filled with posters of Tarantino films and has a great ambiance.
It was a lovely place; my friend and I stumbled upon it by accident and were pleasantly surprised. It has posters of Tarantino movies on the walls and other references, so it's a great place for fans (but you don't have to be one to...go there). The food was very tasty and rather cheap (as far as I can remember) which is always a good thing. It's small and located on a quiet place which was also nice.
