I usually don't post reviews, and on this occasion I thought it was a constructive tactics. On...balance, we decided to publish the review because it only encourage a complacent business owner to think a little more about how their business is perceived by its client. Although I have just read many other reviews from previous diners, I am not sure that she (the owner) takes care of a lot because she has been the thema of bad reviews for one because and yet has not changed anything. a denia restaurant, in las rotas, directly on the water rim. a great location and acceptable eating but a owner who managed to create the worst restaurant atmosphere we ever experienced. somewhere. customers are clearly not their “thing.” they are also not overworked waiters. an air of gloom and dom penetrates. the waiters shake themselves with fear and self-confident from the kitchen to the edible waiters, which were clearly frightened by their employer. about the waiter: a despicable senior waiter to see. he was strapped by the chef and so he snored his best young colleague, the junior waiter, and all this unpleasant activity occurred in the ear of the diners. this is a restaurant with an atmosphere so hard it poisoned all attempts in relaxed restaurant talk between the diners or between the diners and the personal. (for us) the last was the following rather unexpected talk between the “Head waiter” and ourselves: instead of garlauch mayo with the brot, we could please some tomato and olive oil (some Spanish restaurants will be happy to offer) no. oh, okay. Maybe we could just have a cut tomato? no. and please don’t ask for it because it will cause a massive series in the kitchen. really! in this case we can please speak with the owner's own, hesitant to speak with us: and the answer. “No” she does not want to agree that anything that is not already printed on the menu. not even a tomato. a ridiculous and embarrassing experience. and in a restaurant that probably ruins these dame. not because of poor food, but because of a rather unconventional approach for customer service and the motivation of the personal. if they are a masochist, book now to avoid disappointment. otherwise they go to restaurante sendra near. ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... pero completamente desperdiciado. normalmente no publico críticas. y en esta ocasión pensé mucho en si era una táctica constructiva. en definitelya, decidimos publicar la reseña porque podría animar al propietario de un negocio complaciente a pensar un poco más en cómo su negocio es percibido por su clientela. aunque después de emp otras numerosas críticas publicadas por anteriores comensales no estoy seguro de que a ella (la propietaria) le importe mucho porque han sido objeto de malas críticas durante algún tiempo y, sin embargo, nada ha cambiado. un restaurante de denia, en las rotas, justo al lado del agua. una gran ubicación y una comida aceptable pero una propietaria que ha conseguido crear el peor ambiente de restaurante que hemos experimentado jamás. - yes. está claro que los clientes no son lo suyo. tampoco lo son sus camareros sobrecargados de trabajo. se respira un aire de pesadumbre y fatalidad. los camareros se mueven temeros y cohibidos de la cocina a las mesas. camareros claramente aterrorizados por su empleador. en cuanto a los camareros: uno de ellos estaba desesperado por ser visto como el camarero bürgermeister el dueño/chef le gruñó y él, a su vez, le gruñó a su asediado y joven colega, el camarero junior. y toda esta desagradable actividad ocurrió al alcance de los oídos de los comensales. este es un restaurante con una atmósfera tan pesada que envenena cualquier intento de conversación relajada entre los comensales o entre los comensales y el staff. definitelyamente no es un restaurante que zumbe con la feliz charla de clientes relajados. (para nosotros) la gota que colmó el vaso, fue la siguiente conversación bastante inesperada entre el jefe de camareros y nosotros: en lugar de mayonesa de ajo con el pan, ¿podríamos pedir tomate y aceite de oliva (algo que los restaurantes españoor ¿Quizás podríamos tomar sólo un tomate en rodajas? y por favor, no lo pidas porque provocará una gran pelea en la cocina. - de verdad! en ese caso, ¿podemos hablar con el propietario, por favor el dueño vino de mala gana a hablar con nosotros: y la respuesta. no ella no aceptará nada que no esté ya impreso en el menú. ni siquiera un tomate. una experiencia ridícula y vergonzosa. y en un restaurante que muy probablemente esta señora va arruinar. no por la mala comida, sino por un enfoque poco convencional de la atención al cliente y la motivación del personal. si eres masoquista, reserva ahora para evitar decepciones. si no, waya al restaurante sendra que está cercano. gracias por emplo.

beautiful evening dinner with the most heavenly sunset view. rustic charm. we had caught the day and it was amazing. great service.

a few times in sept inherited and both males we found the workers stubbornly confronted and laced and customer service skills. a shame. the owner reads these because there are no comments. ? if they don't say tourist then...so!

I have visited helios for the last 30 years or so, and it is generally quite good that they know, ok eat, good staff and a beautiful view. but in the last 12 months it is not sure whether there is a change of the owner / management, but the place is a shadow of the former himself. only the view seems not to have changed, thankful! almost all employees are now quite rude, table service is everything, but disappeared and eating is bad and overpriced. we visited last week when I snorkelled with my son and his friend and thought we would try again to have been there in the mai again. But if it wasn't on pink, a new waitress that was only there on her 2nd day, we would have evolved honestly. Unfortunately, there is no other way to say it differently than the other waiterin submission stank. they refused to serve us because we had no table reserved, although we sat on our table for an hour and the restaurant was far away. they ordered us to go to the bar and choose tapas from there, who looked all disgusting. After we have said it well, we go easy and go somewhere else, they have decided to order 3 dishes (between 5 of us who, when they came out, were quite laborious. the special salate was anything but special, the calamares were tasteless with soggy battery and the sardines were clearly cooked out of frozen! Moreover, the portions were small and overpriced 11 for a very basic salate, 10 for 4 sardines. as already mentioned, the only redeeming features of the restaurant were the view (which would also fight the current management to pamper) the new waitress pink, which, when we were quietly apologised in the name of the other waitresses and waiters (I doubt very much that they apologise and admitted that they were embarrassed by the hire of the other employees. we have cared for pink with a nice tipp, but I'm sure it's fed up quickly as the other waitresses always try to stop them from being so helpful for the customers. I don't think I'm going back a long time and not if they make serious improvements. if they wish a rat, I would begin to change the waitress (except pink it is the type they want to bring back there, table service (they are a restaurant at the end of the day and a cook that can cook fresh food well. they get this right and they can calculate the prices they charge, and the people will be happy to pay them.

I don't know if it was because we were British, but the welcome and service from the waitress last week fell far below other establishments in Denia. Stony faced, and clearly unwelcoming, even before we'd ordered a drink or food. We did, after a round...of drinks, order some small plates, one of which was sausages. All I can say is that they looked and tasted less than appetising... A real shame as the location is wonderful.

Only thing going for this place is location and its views. The staff are miserable. We had 3 tapas, 2 beers and a vodka and orange it was priced a at 34.50€ it was the worse meal I've ever eaten and we have lived in...tenerife for 10 years. The atmosphere was flat. The staff was miserable, it was chilly so we sat indoors. The place had no music on to enjoy the surroundings. I would not recommend this place. We couldn't leave fast enough but after paying 4.50€ for a beer and 7€ for a vodka I wasn't going to leave that. I give this 1 star because of the surroundings
