a modern restaurant with great service and great food. we had bbq pork and utter to melt in the mouth. relaxing and pleasant restaurant, recommended to check it.
eat big and weeping to cheap trips. the squid on brioche was fantastic as the iberico boar. tempura cod was light and tasty. lucia was the waitress an absolute joy. go there, you will not be disappointed
excellent eating and the biggest Gin tonics my partner had ever seen! the service was beautiful and relaxed. we had gilded headbow, spaghettini with squid and the house chicken wing. all excellent. I had a few glasses of beautiful white wine and... at €2,70 they were each a complete bargain.
we ordered the tataki yellowfin tuna, which was beautifully plated and spicy. the rice with longustinos and garnels were delicious. atmosphere could not be better.
Friendly delightful restaurant overlooking the beach. Imaginative menu, beautifully presented by super staff who were patient with our language interpretation. To be recommended.
Having tried and enjoyed a meal in a restaurant close by, we decided to try to get a table here on the following evening. It was largely full, but though their English was nearly as weak as our Spanish, we muddled through and they found...us a table. Food was fresh a well prepared and thoroughly tasty, perhaps more in the Spanish taste than some other eateries. We greatly enjoyed the meal, though communication was a little halting at times. We'll be back.
Having eaten in El Faro the night before we thought we would try their sister restaurant. Apart from the menus looking similar there was no comparison. In particular the Rioja white and red wines were extremely poor as was the house red wine which...we all sent back. The saving grace was the waitress who gave excellent customer service. Actual food was reasonable but uninspiring.
We had lunch one day and dinner another day at this restaurant. We appreciated the extended opening hours as we were able to get a late lunch and also an early dinner when most other restaurants were closed. For lunch we had 4 tapas between...the two of us, prawns in bacon, ham croquettes, apple and duck, patatas bravas. Of these dishes we enjoyed the croquettes the most. For dinner we had tempura cod and two other tapas plus the seafood paella and all were good.
