The Regal Jd Wetherspoon

Absolutely top notch! I visited Cambridge with a friend and we spent the weekend there. The Regal has an impressive interior it was converted from a cimena. It has the usual spaciousness combined with seemingly hundreds of tables that you get in a Wetherspoons. Our first visit to The Regal was in the evening and we took advantage of their pint pizza deal. Great choice of beers and a delicious and large pizza. Yes, I 've had better pizzas in Italian restaurants but certainly not at this price. I was amazed to see Leffe served by the pint and included as an option in this bargain package. Anyay, we were so impressed that we returned the next morning for breakfast. I had the large veggie option...

I have visited the Regal a few times while working in Cambridge. My experiences started off well but unfortunately ended badly. I must caution others about a large ginger man who smells of marijuana and works behind the bar. Despite the fact that I had been drinking there for three hours, he refused to serve me a pint, claiming I looked too young. When I accepted this decision and requested a refund, he rudely informed me that it was not their policy to give refunds and I would need to contact head office. The pub itself is great, but this particular individual left a negative impression on me. It seems he may have forgotten serving me, as he was likely too intoxicated to remember.

This breakfast was the worst I have ever had. I ordered a big breakfast and received a small portion with missing items such as mushrooms, an egg, and a hash brown. Additionally, the portion of beans I received was only a spoonful and everything was served cold. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

The brownie was delicious and the staff we encountered were very friendly. We were able to purchase two pitchers for £14.50, which was a fantastic deal. It would have been nice to have some strawberries, but considering it is a chain restaurant, you get what you pay for. Reserva una mesa ahora

We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning prior to heading off to the museums. I ordered pancakes with bacon and my wife the freedom breakfast. The pancakes were fine, but both the bacon and maple syrup were on the stingy side, my wife...

Having visited this morning....sorry to say the English breakfast wasn't the best....cold toast, bacon n beans. The pub itself was beautiful but doesn't make up for the brekkie!! Doubt I would visit again to eat

Came here with a friend as a spontaneous decision to eat out. It was fairly busy but was a Sunday evening. We easily got a table and were serviced reasonably quickly. Each had a burger very good.

Very nice place, very clean.. food was OK, burger deal was awful, but chicken wings and pizza were very tasty.

Lovely food and staff, not great with a punch chair but they do have a lift to go down to the lower level
