close to the beach bar and the restaurants is the montevideo group. So if you like the Uruguayan music while waiting for their pizza, visit here and enjoy a takeaway beer. we had a spicy caliente with two bier euro. since then again for a beer while listening to the music from social distance
we tried this restaurant and were surprised. first we had a meat empanada as tried and it was excellent, but since we asked for a full parrillada, we did not ask for more. the parrillada had a large selection of meat and sausages and it was delicious. because we were so impressed about the empanada the first time that I went again another day and ordered more types of empanadas than take along and they were all delicious. I had been very well visited by the staff at both locations. I would definitely recommend this restaurant
this restaurant was the nearest place to our accommodation, so we had one day there lunch and we were satisfied. we tried chicken and red curry and sirloin steak. the curry was beautiful and it wasn't sharp, but the steak was not as we expected. it had a bit too much fat between the meat and it was a little overcooked for medium-sized rare, but it was still beautiful and tender and the part was quite large, so still have enough to enjoy. the cocktails were also delicious.
we always had good food. we ate here for snacks and for main dishes. personal always friendly and helpful. a good place to eat.
There are many of these establishments up and down the Platja in Castelldefels. They are all of similar design and all benefit from huge footfall. If i owned one id want it to be different to the rest in some way and that would be...with the food. We tried some standard tapas, wine etc. To be honest much of what they gave us was Tapas as we know it but trying to be a modern version and not the best attempt. Some very ordinary tapas messed about with so that its actually a poor version of something new and a terrible version of what it used to be. This is definitely a case of taking something good, messing with it and making it less than good or bad. Too many other options to try to see us returning.
We had dinner in Cataleya, and loved both the food, service and the atmosphere. Nice varied menu with clear notice for different diets. Thanks for a lovely evening!
In early Oct me and my husband stayed in the MASD Hotel for nights, due to having an injury on my leg I couldn't walk far and this was just across the way. We ate in this restaurant times and both times it...was really good food, it was cheap in comparison to the surrounding restaurants but seemed the better menu. The staff were really friendly. I would recommend anybody staying in the area to try out this restaurant.
de la carta extensa (quizás elegimos la carne asada como plato principal acompañado de algunos calamares a las papas romanas y bravas como entrante. la carne era muy buena, además de ser una ración muy abundante. Las papas y calamares no se destacan especialmente (spots claramente congelados. , la cerveza muy rica! y el servicio bastante bien (no es especialmente rápido, pero teniendo en cuenta que tenían todo lleno porque entra dentro de la normalidad.
