They specialise in tapas, but also offer a 'menu del dia ', of limited choices (2 or 3 dishes each for first and second dish , including olives, water, picos, salad(? . And if you order the menu del dia, they plug a paper 'cloth ' on your table. Whatever. The olives were delicious, my first dish (chicken and rice was well-cooked, and nicely spiced. And generous enough to have served as full meal. Then I got fried fish, plenty, 3 types, in fine breadcrumbs, totally fresh. Salad with question-mark, since they also gave a tasty potato salad that we never ordered. In the end the bill per person was 7,95€; an amount that I considered embarrassing and therefore gave a nice tip.
When we first saw this restaurant we really didn't think it was going to be too good but as soon as we entered the owners were very attentive and sat us down within seconds, we didn't think we were going to be able to eat a fresh and home cooked meal because we arrived at 4pm after a long trip from Madrid, boy did they ever convince us otherwise, they served us the best fresh and hotmeal ever, we plan to go back tomorrow because the food and service was wonderful...a definite recommendation to anyone wanting a fresh and hot home cooked meal, we had fresh soup, lentils and fish...wonderfullllll!
