We love stopping at Cafe Competa for a drink and tapas. Ismael is a lovely guy. always friendly , Great coffee and good tapa.
Cafe Competa is situated directly across the street from the Saturday market in Competa. It serves great coffees and the bacon wrapped dates are too good. The service is excellent. Locals and visitors frequent this cafe and it is a great place to strike up a friendly conversation. The owners are a local family. Be sure to say hello to the guard dog when you visit.
Stopped here for a glass of wine and some pastry around lunch time. Unfortunately the only food they serve is Tapas but the owner said we could buy what we wanted from a shop down the road and eat it here! So bought some Danish then sat here with a few glasses of wine. This place is in the main through road of the town opposite the main car park, so ideal for people watching. The wine was 1.50€ a glass. Lovely little place and very good service.
Esta pequeña joya es muy popular tanto con los locales como con los visitantes. Cualquier cosa de café a bebidas y aperitivos. Usted está hecho muy bienvenido y es un lugar ideal para una bebida rápida / café o para silbar en algún momento. Sé advertido de que se pone muy ocupado los días del mercado.
Tapas no bien, tenía que conseguir albóndigas recalentadas, fechas en tocino totalmente sobrecocido y calentado en micro, calamari no agradable. Podría estar bien por un café o una cerveza rápida, pero salta las tapas.
We had visitors over from England. Ordered 6 beers. When tryin to order 6 more they said no. Want come back here. What sort of a business refuses to serve 6 people drinks. Disappointing
A few of my friends or people I know often hang out here, usually outside is where most expats go. But inside and outside, the locals with kids, small kids, assemble being who they are. We did not come to Spain to see Britain.
I'm on a low carb diet so finding breakfasts or second breakfasts is hard to find but now I have! They served me tapas from the bar at 11am ranging from quails eggs and green peppers to meatball and sausages. 5 tapas and two coffees for 9 euro.
