Come here weekly for the huge 300g fillet but just had the special Tomahawk steak (500g I think? absolutely amazing! Cooked perfectly. Pre-order though!
Well what can I say about this restaurant. This restaurant is run by Kelly and Billwho are bright and cheerful. The menu is quite extensive for a small restaurant and you can dine in or alfresco. There is a specials board. And you can pick from a tomahawk steak to tapas. The engine room of the restaurant is Lesely who’s cooking skills are amazing and not forget Kelly I can really recommend The Dulce Casa. Not to be missed Recently had the sizzling mixed grill (see the photo) which is served at lunchtime and is quite fantastic for €8.
We went there last night for a pre-Christmas dinner. We received a very friendly welcome and were served in a friendly and attentive manner until the end. The food was fantastic. Really highly recommended !!! The price-performance ratio is absolutely right. We will be happy to come again. Thank you
Sunday dinner, table for four. Restaurant was not busy. Placed our order, 3 for roast beef and 1 for quarter of roast chicken. Two dinners arrived (chicken was sliced not a quarter but cooked okay) a little wait before the other two meals arrived and then another wait until gravy was served and yet another wait before the condiments arrived. The vegetables were not hot and roast potatoes tasted like they had been re-heated. No one came to check if the meal was okay and if any drinks needed. We went on the strength of it changing hands recently and worth giving a try, unfortunately, none of us feel happy enough to return, such a shame.
Called for a drink one afternoon, found the staff and owner very friendly. We had just recovered from Covid and even though our appetites and wine drinking were not up to par, we decided to book last Tuesday evening. Had a table outside, my partner had the steak and ale pie which was made from fillet steak absolutely yummy, I had the garlic chicken also really nice. Followed by apple pie, cream and ice cream. Nice bottle of wine and a lovely pina colada each. A delightful evening and excellent service Keeley.
