restaurant in mercadal with a very nice dehors in an equally suggestive village. It has a menu with meat and fish. the offer of the meat is really of level you pass from the lamb to the fillet with fois gras. Suitable for couples and also for large family tables. Prices are tailored to the quality and refinement of the dishes. Excellent wine cellar

starter: burrata with pesto and ceviche to share, mains, beginning of the day john Dory/Gall de sant pere( for adults and to share for children with sauteed garlic liver),...dessert: torrijas and ice water and koks to drink. total ceviche was really good, although the fish was cut too rough. burrata was normal, but nothing special. the net parts were well prepared, but the parts were small and overhauled/dry. torrijas were slightly slandered. all in all, overpriced for shared appetizers and no wine and average quality / small portions.
sat for lunch and really enjoyed it. it was not busy, but the service was excellent really excellent and eating was very nice. the thunfischtar was excellent great aromen and sushi quality. the fish of the day was very good and. well prepared. highly recommended.
I go twice a year to menorca and have visited this restaurant several times in these years. I think it was taken over this year, but not the better. although eating was good, it was not as good as in the previous years. my friend is disabled, and at the end they did not help her or thank us for coming from most restaurants we visited. we will not return.
we were a party of six who went to an evening meal on september. all three couples are peculiarities of property on the island and have visited the restaurant for almost thirty years. we have always found the food to be excellent and in that it is one of our two favorite restaurants on the island. we had booked a table for eight watches and that was ready for us and we were warmly welcomed. after that the service was very slow. there were very long gaps between the curses and in the did, we all thought that the dessert course was forgotten overall! at this time the restaurant was almost empty, apart from a Spanish couple that had come late so that the staff were certainly not busy! it's a pity that this aspekt spoils the evening. we will certainly hope to book again for a meal as we had no cause for complaining in the past when it was in the possession of manola. we hope that the new owners will continue to lead a successful restaurant, but the speed of the service is really an important aspect of a pleasant evening.

Our first visit to the island so we just followed the recommendations and turned up early without a booking. You MUST book to be sure of a table. The food was delicious. We went with the fish specials and were delighted.
