What a special evening.. every tiny detail was so perfect, the food was beyond anything we've ever experienced; the service was incredible we felt like old friends with the waiters and sommelier by the end of the meal and our chat with the chef at the end was so lovely. Such a special place, I would (and already have! highly recommend El Portal de Echaurren and the town of Ezcaray to anyone who wants a unique amazing foodie experience
We consumed the Tasting menu, several courses, excellent quality, excellent presentation of dishes. Staff always on the piece, attentive and courteous. One note, due to the amount of dishes on the tasting menu, it becomes difficult to enjoy everything in the end, but they offer the opportunity to take away what you don't consume, an excellent initiative! We went by chance while on a trip and we loved it. Very good quality price ratio and magnificent customer service. I take this opportunity to thank the restaurant for the help in sending the bag that I left behind. Very slow service, for regular food. I don't understand why Echaurren needs to set up something mediocre.??? Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
The place is crowded and very noisy. Filtered water is charged and there is no option of mineral water of more than 20cl. The food disappointed. The only thing about Echaurren is the name and the price. I brought some friends and I hope they know how to forgive me.
All perfect. The food is delicious and the service is unbeatable. When we return we will repeat for sure. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €50–60
