we never come to mexiko and expect us to have an American experience. that's just silly. we loved this place because it was all we know to be classic mexicano. we went twice. the food was excellent and the atmosphere was very traditional. even a very fluent English speaker among the waiters who helped us feel at home.
we were looking for live music we didn't find. the place was empty and eating bad to average quality.
was here a few times, not anymore. it's not about food. tends to be too loud (loud music) to be at the table. a lot of space inside but so it does not feel crowded
the drinks are very good and large. for seafood they had only fish and garnel. many escaped and Mexican dishes like tacos, quesadillas, etc. I had a chickenburger because I don't like Mexican food, but my party liked everything. the fruit drink was amazing. A...mariachi talked to us and sold his cds.
Went with a large group (16 people) and had lunch. Service was very good, and attentive, and they were very accommodating with about 14 separate checks an amazing thing most Mexican restaurants will do.The food was good, not great, not surprising, it is a...self describe restaurante tourista familiar. As an example, my queso fundido was ok, but not hot enough, no drippy cheese, etc. Just warm. There was a singer who was very good, and interestingly had his own menu with songs, and the price duly noted a good approach since as it so often happens, performers appear unbidden, and you feel pressured to tip them, and often don't know quite what to give. Anyway, I liked this approach.
I will say the the ambient is great, the decor, the music and the folkloric dances are excellent, I give then 4 stars just for it but they need to work on the quality of the food and the service. I do understand that it...was on Sunday afternoon and that it was a little crowded but the service was a no no....
A restaurant with very delicious mexican food. Live music is available. The location is very nice and the and big. On the upper floor is a bar with balconys an a view on the street. Cocktails are house made and service is very quick. I...really liked the mixed meat plate with different meat and dipa and salsas.
Food was good. I had gone on a food tour 2 days before and all was wonderful. we decided to go back on our last night, and our waiter left because it as his time to go , and left us with someone who was...more in a rush to close up the restaurant than to tend to us. like I said, food was good, prices were good too. If I go back, I will make sure it is not near closing time...
