Llegamos recomendados por el señor del apartamento y por las opiniones aquí leídas. Estaba hasta atrás de gente. La barra no tenía ni un hueco libre, las mesas no tenían ni una silla vacía y el comedor (que era donde teníamos pensado, puesto que íbamos a cenar) lleno.Al final nos quedamos en un tonel en la terraza y pedimos unos vinos. Para acompañar al vino, pedimos unas zapatillas de jamón serrano (estaban asombrosas, espectaculares, nos encantaron), tenían queso y mucho jamón. RIQUÍSIMAS.También pedimos unos champiñones (que no estaban mal) y un provolone con chumichurri que no nos acabamos porque aunque estaba rico, tenía demasiada grasa.Quedamos con ganas de cenar allí algo de carne, porque lo que vimos pasar tenía buena pinta, pero claro!! no había donde y fue una pena.

Si eres celaco, será mejor que preguntes por el jefe/cocinador porque creo que fue el nico el que lo deja claro en el bar. No tienen muchas opciones sin gluten pero algo que podríamos comer. Un puno de campeones (4 de los que tienen en la barra, y pedimos una pata de pulpo con puré de patata que era muy bueno (10.50 tienen rebanadas de pan sin gluten. Bebidas:Crianza 2Verdejo 1,90Pan 1

This place is a must but there are not many tables and you should book. Food might be described as tasty, rustic, filling and filling. That was our experience when eating the menu del dia. Good choices and served with bread, water and a bottle of Rioja. Total cost 35 euros. Beside us a small group was dining on lamb (this and steaks are specialities) and it was so tender the dived in with forks! Another feature that I loved was the local tradition of buying wine from the side window. Rioja at 2 euros a glass! What's not to like? The staff are lovely and I gave a 25 tip and I am a tight fisted Scotsman. A great meal but also an event!
What an experience! By far the best ribeye we have ever eaten.! Combined with sn excellent Rioja. Very friendly staff and we were very pleasantly surprised with the bill. We will definitely visit this redden again. Highly recommended!
We visited as a family of 3 (child of 10 years old). Food was delicious and staff were very helpful (especially when I was struggling to speak Spanish). Small but perfect range of food. Would definitely come back.
What a hidden gem! Located on a beautiful, quaint, old-town Haro street, our meal was delicious. Kicked off by amazing empanadas and followed by slow cooked lamb that was clearly a product of an experienced chef. Our waitress recommended a stunning La Rioja Alta wine that may have been the best bottle of our trip. The meal concluded with homemade cheesecake that was delightful. In addition to the wonderful dining experience, we must mention the attentive and friendly service. Our young waitress welcomed us with a warm smile and guided us through the menu with expertise. The friendly owner stopped by to check on us several times while tending to the small but busy restaurant. Finally, as our evening ended, we asked for help calling a taxi on this rainy night. Immediately our waitress, the owner, and the locals sitting behind us pulled out their phones to assist. We were treated as if we were their friends….something we won’t forget. A great experience.
