Stayed for 1 night to attend my fathers memorial service. Hazel was amazing from the get go, warm welcome, and very compassionate about the cirumstances. despite me arriving a little early for the 3pm check in she showed me to my room with no problem. Hazel even offered to take me to my next destination when she realised I had arrived by train and then bus to Beaumaris and said she even would have collected me from Bangor if she had known. Had a meal in the evening and it was perfection, all the food is locally sourced and is super fresh and beautifully cooked and presented. Nothing was too much for the staff. Arriving at the hotel, we initially had trouble finding parking as it was located down a short lane/road around the back. The parking area could only accommodate 8 cars maximum and maneuvering my 15-foot-long car was a bit challenging, especially with cars parked along the lane. The hotel room was satisfactory, although my wife found the lighting inadequate for reading. The bath/shower was good, the bed comfortable, and the evening meal, while somewhat limited, was superb - the chef clearly knew his stuff. The dining room was fantastic and the staff were excellent. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who welcomed us and showed us to our table. Our daughter is veggie and the chef went out of their way to make a pasta dish for her which was delicious. We dined with three adults and 2 young children and all of our food was amazing, very tasty, fresh and well presented. Service was outstanding, thank you to all three ladies you are a credit to the establishment and we appreciated your wonderful service. After our meal the lovely lady gave both of our children Easter eggs, they were thrilled! What a very kind gesture. We will definitely be back again best restaurant in Beaumaris in our opinion! Beautiful and fresh food that was far beyond a standard ‘pub’ menu. The host was extremely friendly and we could dine with our dog too as long as we pre-booked. A very well stocked bar and they were happy to make us aperol spritz and offered other cocktails as well as a nice wine list. Would recommend above other pubs in the area. Reserva una mesa ahora
Very comfortable stay with the room having all the little extras you might need. The evening meals and breakfasts were delicious. Parking was limited and a bit of an obstacle course to get in and out. The proprietor went out of her way to wash my wife’s coat after she had fallen in the mud. Will certainly return.
