was recommended for a good local tapas place and it surpasses the expectations. be careful though we have ordered too much food. the staff was friendly, the service was great, the eating was fresh and so good. we highly recommend it.
typical Spanish tapas bar, which also serves local dishes throughout the day, clean and spacious with friendly and attentive staff who work hard to please a very nice place to go.
eating was very sufficient, but nothing special. we were the only customers in the restaurant, and thus the service was in order, but the atmosphere was missing something. the prices were average.
I don't recommend this restaurant. After reading opinions about Pata Negra I expected tasty food for a fair price. I was really disappointed. I ordered sangria, which was rather weak and tinto de verano which was ok. Free tapas were included with drinks ... I...expected something spanish but we got two cold mini hot dogs. For lunch I ordered fried sardines. There were fried, but probably an hour a ago, I got it very chewy. They seemed to be warmed in a microwave! There is problem with communication, waiter didn't speak in English, fortunately one of the guests helped with ordering. It was cheap and nothing else. I don't recommend Pata Negra.
After being recommended this restaurant by a local business owner I thought I'd give it a go.. I was very well informed, the food there was amazing! Reasonably priced and the service was excellent. The only drawback is that we were there with a Spanish...speaker so am not to sure of their English skills as I was told this is a restaurant that the locals frequent. Overall very satisfied, would definitely go there again.
If you want some (relatively) cheap, authentic, yummy tapas then this is a really great place. They give you free tapas with each drink you order. They have a great value set menu (think it was for three course Better than anything on the...strip we found.
