So I will say this again and again- I am from Vancouver and I also lived in Japan. Vancouver has the greatest Asian food (authentic), outside the Asian continent so I have a lot of knowledge about Japanese food and other Asian foods. And yes, just google Asians in Vancouver *word for word, and you will understand what I am talking about. I also lived in Japan so that raises me one level when it comes to knowledge about Japanese food. This is not Japanese food. This is owned by Chinese who create Japanese-like food for Spaniards who know nothing about Japanese food. I am really sick of this in Spain. This happens in so many Japanese restaurants. The staff are super nice and professional, but it doesn 't excuse the food which is below average given the exorbitant prices. 20 euros for 10 pieces of sushi, excuse me? I have eaten at Green Tea Sushi in the Westin (centre of Madrid), for much less. And the quality of the Japanese food in the Westin is amazing compared to this place. I also used Tripadvisor to book with Green Tea and got 50 percent off the menu which makes it cheaper than this farce. Oh, and they served me mustard (in a shiny cute soy bowl), masking it as some beautiful sauce to serve with my Dim Sum. And yes, I realize Dim Sum is not Japanese. So yeah, do you want to be taken as a fool? I think not.

We ate here for lunch on a lovely sunny day in Madrid. I hadn't checked out any reviews before hand and only booked on my way to a meeting. The food was nice, service was good, price was reasonable and overall we all enjoyed our lunch. The only minor niggle was that there seemed to be too much mustard in the Tuna Tartare.

Ambos platos no estaban calientes. La calidad era muy pobre. Todos probaron lo mismo. Vale, la excepción positiva fue el vino de la casa blanca. En resumen, pobre valor para el dinero :

I do not know how to explain it but this restaurant was known in the neighborhood as a very good one. When we tried it it was slow and exasperating. The service is slow. The food is not bad, some things are really good, but what we tried was irregular. Difficult to say if I would repeat. Probably I would give them another chance.

It has a decent bargain menu del día but otherwise it has nothing to make it stand out. The food is a bit greasy, especially the crispy rice and beef. I used to go often but I found one maitre to be rude (while the other was nice). There is free parking in the adjacent streets but the roundabout where it is located, is pretty much always parked up. It is close to a metro station. I am not saying this is a bad place, I am just saying it isn 't anything to write home about. You will have decent food at typical Asian restaurant prices. But I can 't think of one must order plate. One should note that there has been an explosion of new Asian restaurants openning in madrid 2010 the present.
