always come here when visiting La Canada but this time the service let it down . the food was good but we did not appreciate being brought our Main meals when we were only half way thru our starters, and we had not had the starter long, so we were not being slow eaters. it did spoil are experience. we will be making sure next time not to have a repeat.
I have been several times to this quality restaurant, the service is excellent, very professional and very clean , the quantity is excellent, try the apple strudel is so good ,

Tough, badly cooked, average cuts of meat. The only plus to this was the salad, which had a rather suprisingly nice dressing. However, saying this was practically just oil and herbs, that’s not that hard to make, really. Very disappointing. :
This is a great place to relax eat while taking a break from shopping in the La Canada Centre , Marbella. Block House Restaurant is situated at the corner on the top floor. We have eaten here about half a dozen times it is always excellent. Their Menu del Dia is terrific value at €14.30 which includes a starter, main course , garlic bread , dessert or coffee a drink. This is served up to 5.pm Mon Friday. The steak is tender cooked perfectly to your individual taste. On my last visit I had the Potato Creme soup delicious followed by steak medaillons with a baked potato sour cream. Ice cream was my chosen dessert my choice of drink was a nice cold bottle of water ! The staff are friendly helpful , and their smart red uniforms are always spotless. Next time you are in the centre , sit down relax with a tasty inexpensive meal. You won't be sorry.
excellent value set lunch time menu, we both had bruchetta for staters,Then I had the steak medalions were tender,juicy and tasty and my partner had the spicy steak with fries which he said was also tender ,juicy and tasty. ice cream and 2 beers also incuded in the price.
I tried Blockhouse in Franfurt this year so I had to try in Marbella because I have very good experience. Steak menu with salad and baked potato are very delicious. Any if the meat are good choice! Same quality as in Franfurt I can only recommend! (Just forget you are in a shopping center!
second time we have eaten here to break the shopping day. had starter (salad, soup and bruchetta) then 3 house burgers which are beautifully cooked (medium) and served with garlic bread, coleslaw and a baked potato with sour cream. Bit of a production line service very quick but that's not such a bad thing. Only slight criticism is potatoes are a bit over baked and so the skins a bit past their best. It's good value though and good service.
